Kenneth "Butch" Fried

Mr. Kenneth “Butch” Fried, Age 88, of Lebanon Junction, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Kenneth was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 27, 1936. Kenneth had a great personality, and the ability to light up the room. Kenneth retired as an Electrician from the Ford Truck Plant. He participated in many different departments of the police and fire force. He loved driving his Corvette and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles with his family. He loved all animals, especially his pets. Kenneth also enjoyed dancing and singing. Some of his best memories were spending time with his grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Fried; parents, Kenneth and Virginia “Smith” Fried; and sisters, Myrna Hagan and Gloria Dixon; best friend, his dog, Prince. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Jackson (Steve), his granddaughters, Rebecca Gerard (Trevor) and Sarah Jackson (Jessie); great grandchildren, Makenzie, Bryson, Quinn and Piper; siblings, Mike Fried and Dennis Fried; along with many nieces and nephews who knew him as Uncle “Butch”. 

Funeral service will be held at 6:00p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home- Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Dr.) Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 12:00p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
