Kenneth Hillous England

Mr. Kenneth Hillous England, age 86, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 3, 2023. Mr. England was born in Louisville, KY on May 24, 1937 to the late Henry Hillous England and Atley Rhoten England. He retired from L&N/ CSX Railroad.

In addition to his parents, his beloved wife, Shelba Jean Terry England; son, Ernie Dale England; granddaughter, Amanda Keely England and siblings, Elna Smith, Velda Smith, Floyd England, Clifford Lloyd England, Cleda England and Melbadale England and son-in-law, Ronnie Gaw Sr. preceded him in death. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Michael England (Joy) and Teresa Gaw; grandchildren, Timothy Meyer, Jennifer Thomason, Erin Pass (Tommy), Shawn Browner, Michael Dale England (Jennifer) and Ronnie Gaw Jr. (Donna), great-grandchildren, Dylan Meyer, Alyssa Keedy, Michael Tyler England, Addison Keely England, Jerzey Rae Browner, Harper Gaw and Brady Smothers and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 7, 2023 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 12:00 pm until the time of his service at 2pm at the funeral home.
