Mr. Kevin D. Daugherty, age 44, of Shepherdsville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 8, 2018 in Elizabethtown, KY. He was born on February 18, 1974 to Brenda Sutton Daugherty Howard and the late Huey P. Daugherty.
Among those who preceded him in death include, his daughter, Sarah Emily Lyon; his father, Huey Daugherty; his mother- in- law, Nelda Lyon and his brother- in- law, Steven Lyon.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Lorraine Daugherty who was with him for over 21 years; his children, Christina Daugherty Ahmadi, Amber Lacefield (Jake), Rachel Jackson, Reanna Kane, Tony Joseph and Amy Morrison; his 5 grandchildren, Avery and Isabella Ahmadi, Madison and Matthew Kane and Richard Kevin Williams; his mother, Brenda Howard; his brother, Kenny Daugherty; several brothers- in- law and sisters- in- law and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, November 12, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Brookland Cemetery to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
