Kevin Scott Lusby, age 64, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 20, 2025, after fighting a long battle with PSP, a rare neurological disorder. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 8, 1961, to the late Robert D. Lusby and Betty F. Reed. He graduated from Fairdale High School in 1979. Kevin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. His family was the center of his universe. He was a member of Okolona Masonic F&AM 281. Kevin was a lifelong member of Louisville Street Rods. Some of his greatest memories and moments were spent riding the backroads with his smoking hot wife, Nancy. He enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family the most. He radiated happiness, kindness, and compassion, touching the lives of everyone around him. Whether it was lending a helping hand, offering a listening ear, or simply showing up when it mattered most, Kevin never hesitated to put others first. If you were his brother, he had your back until the very end. All who knew him knew he had no filter. He was a true lover of music and found joy in karaoke and the simple things in life. Kevin brought light, laughter, and warmth to every moment. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Tracey Neathery.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Nancy Lusby; children, Jessica Lile (Shane), Amanda Lusby (Jeremy), Damon Luttrell (Christina), and Jessie Clark (Josh); grandchildren, Hunter, Blake, Faith, Nolan, Olivia, Dallas, Dakota, Ava, and Tucker; along with many other family and friends.
Family and Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 12:00 pm in the chapel at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brookland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to CurePSP (325 Hudson Street 4th Floor New York, NY 10013). www.subfuneralhome.com
