Kristi was born in Topeka, Kansas, on September 28, 1957, to the late Arthur Ray Lewis and Barbara Jo (Jackman) Lewis. Kristi was a loving and dedicated mom, granna, and sister. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She spent her early childhood in Tyler, Texas, before moving with her family to Kentucky. Kristi was warm, kind hearted, and genuinely cared for others. She believed in treating everyone with respect and dignity and taught her children the importance of kindness, etiquette, hospitality, and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Creative by nature, Kristi loved the arts, especially drawing, painting, and calligraphy. She also had a deep love for genealogy and enjoyed sharing stories about their ancestors with her children so that their family history would be remembered and cherished for generations to come.
Above all, Kristi’s greatest pride and treasures were her children and grandchildren. She encouraged her children to explore their own interests while teaching them to be thoughtful and considerate of others. Her grandchildren brought her immense joy. She especially cherished the time she was able to spend with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kristi leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Aaron Jones (Brittany) and Andy Jones (Bekah); daughter, Audrey Jones; grandchildren, Samuel, Luke, Asher, Raegan, Gracie, and Bennett; Lamara Lewis; siblings, Walter Raemhild, Tim Raemhild, Alicia Lewis, Scott Lewis, and Lynn Holland; her aunt Susie Myers, along with her husband, Randy Trahan, and a host of nieces, nephews, other dear family members, and friends.
Her kindness, creativity, and love for her family will remain with them always and will be carried forward through the lives of those she loved.
