Larry Stephen Bond

Larry was the son of James and Evelyn Bond and was one of 12 children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, six sisters, his son, Larry Eugene Bond, and his grandson, Dustin Bond.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Donna Bond; his son, Bart Bond (Amy); his grandchildren, Clarissa Bond, Bridget Bond, and Orion Bond; his sister, Sylvia Parkhurst; and his beloved pups, Precious and Lizzie.

Larry loved his family and grandchildren, UofL basketball, spending time and partying with family and friends, and enjoying a cold beer.

In keeping with Larry’s wishes, there will be no funeral or formal service.

Larry didn’t want anyone dwelling on the end. He wanted people to remember the fun, the laughs, the stories, and all the good times shared along the way.

So in his honor, turn the music up a little louder, grab a drink or a smoke, and think back on a memory that still makes you smile.

That is how Larry wanted to be remembered—not for his final days, but for a life filled with family, laughter, friendship, and a whole lot of good times.

He was deeply loved, he will be greatly missed, and the memories he gave us will stay with us forever.
