Laura Mae Cook

Mrs. Laura Mae Cook, age 93, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Mrs. Cook was born in Taylorsville, KY on June 11, 1926 to the late Richard and Lilly Nation. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Shepherdsville, KY.

Among those who preceded her in death are, her husband, Perry L. Cook; sons, Steven and Timothy Cook; grandchildren, Christopher and Tiffany Cook and several siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Dennis Dale Cook (Tina), Perry Cook (Diane) and Donna Kay Cook; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 10, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
