Lee Ann Yates

Ms. Lee Ann (Strohowski) Yates, age 64, of Okolona returned to her Heavenly Father on September 8, 2022. Ms. Yates was born on July 7, 1958, in Louisville, KY to the late Michael and Martha (Henry) Strohowski. She worked for Jefferson County Public Schools and was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church and St. Athanasius Catholic Church. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents, and sister, Michele Knight.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 38 years, William Yates; sons, Christopher Michael Yates (Christa Hall) and Kyle Patrick Yates; grandchildren, Cayden, Adin, Avery, and Carter; brother, William "Geno" Strohowski; sister, Barbara Bunce (Jim); and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow.
