Mr. Lee Ashbrook, age 83, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on February 14, 2019. Mr. Ashbrook was born on April 11, 1935 in Dade City, Florida to the late Paul and Sarah (Shearer) Ashbrook. He was a product engineer for American Air Filter for 30 years. He was a member of Manslick Road Church of Christ and served as an elder for 25 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents; son-in-law, Kurn Bard; and brother, Grady Ashbrook. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years, Jane Ashbrook; children, Melody Hensley (Kevin) and Kelly Bard; grandchildren, Zachary Hensley, Dakota Hensley, Amber Hensley (Joe) and Stephanie Bard; and great-granddaughter, Grace Hensley.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm on Monday, February 18, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Hebron Cemetery.
