Lena “Ruth” Patty, age 91, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, with her family by her side. Ruth will be remembered for her strength, her caring heart, and her deep love for her family. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard Patty, and her son, Curtis Patty.
She is survived by her loving children: daughters Vicki, Lynda, Donna, and Tonya; and sons Chuck, Jim, Charles Robert, Michael, and Carlton; as well as her dear sister, Evelyn. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory.
Funeral Service will be held at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Freeway) on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:15 a.m. Burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
