She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 50 years, Reverend Adron E. Wheat; children, Donita Meador (Mike), Kara McCauley (Darren) and Allen Wheat; grandchildren, Lindsey Kays, Madeline Kays, Whitney Wheat, Cody Wheat, Ashley Wheat, Ethan Wheat, Andrew Meador and Logan Meador; great grandchild, Caden Wheat; sisters, Anna Hughes and Donna Willis; brothers, Dwayne "Dude" West, Darrell West and Michael West; father and stepmother, Amon and Jo West and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm EDT on Saturday, March 26, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy., Shepherdsville, KY) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm CDT at Bernard Funeral Home (367 East Main St., Russell Springs, KY) and on Friday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm EST at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home.
