Linda Gail Weaver

Ms. Linda Gail Combs - Weaver, age 65, of Okolona, returned to her Heavenly Father Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Hospice Inpatient Unit, Nortons Pavillion. Linda was born June 27, 1951 to Clora Fay Combs and the late Roger Arnold Combs. She loved playing softball and fishing in her earlier years. She graduated from Southern High School in 1969 and married Robert Weaver in 1973. She worked for Brown and Williams Tobacco Company in the research department and later at UPS.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Jennifer Hazelip (Joe) and Matthew Weaver; granddaughter, Jocelyn Hazelip; mother, Clora Fay Combs; sisters, Debra Smith (Bill), Mary Ann Combs; nephew, Jason McGuire (Liz); Niece, Hollie Smith.

Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 3-8 p.m. and on Saturday 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
