Lisa Dawn Cochran, age 55 of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, February 27, 2023. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Cox’s Creek. She retired from General Electric after 16 years of faithful service. She was passionate and protective of her family, especially her children. She loved gardening and making quilts and blankets for her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Linda Wilson Tyler.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of more than 24 years, Dennis Cochran; children, Autumn, Sommer Schuster (Charlie), D.J. Cochran and Taylor Cochran; grandchildren, Zach, Paul and Rylie; her sisters who she loved dearly, Paula Tyler and Robbin Wright (Jason); her fur-babies, Abby, Toby and Teny and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 12 pm in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. in Shepherdsville) with burial in Hebron Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 9 am until time of service at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home.
