Lois Jean Jenkins

Lois Jean Jenkins, age 78, of Brooks, Ky passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Hodgenville, Kentucky on January 08, 1947, to the late Noah Webb and Iva Webb. Lois was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked for 30 years as a teacher’s aide for the Bullitt County school system.  She was a former member of Brooks Baptist Church. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed sewing in her free time. She loved spending time with her family. Lois will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and late husband Clarence Jenkins. 

She is survived by her sons Phil Jenkins (Deanna) and Chris Jenkins (Melissa), grandchildren Whitney Altman (Sam), Austin Jenkins, Katie Jenkins, Thomas Stovall, Brooke Jenkins, and CJ Stovall. Great-grandchildren Grayson Altman, Rylan Franklin, and Hudson Altman.  Along with other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). The visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Final interment will take place at Brookland Cemetery.
