Loretta Janet Clark

Mrs. Loretta Janet Clark, age 79, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Mrs. Clark was born in Hardinsburg, KY on November 18, 1945 to the late Samuel Cecil Clark and Edna Lois Clark. She was a treasured wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 62 years, Joseph Bernard Clark Sr.; children,  Lisa Cooper and Joey Clark Jr. (Kathy); grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle (Matt), Jamie (Wes), Amanda (Adam), Morgan, Evan and Christian; great-grandchildren, Chase, Aubrey, Lily, Addison, Colton, Matthew, Mary Jane, Willow, Shane, Damien (DJ), Austin, John, Whittani, Kyleigh, Kynzi, Caitlynn and Paisley; brothers, Robert “Bob” Clark and Larry “Bud” Clark and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm, Friday, February 7th, 2025 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 8:30 am until the time of her service at 12:30 pm at the funeral home.
