Loretta (Sissy) Anna Gibson

Mrs. Loretta Anna (Clements) Gibson, age 68 of Louisville, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on June 11, 2018. Sissy was born January 17, 1950 in Louisville to the late Leonard Augustus Clements and Dorothy Anna (Stillwell) Clements. Loretta “Sissy” loved and parented unconditionally her nine children. Sissy will live on in the hearts of her family as an example of what God wished them to be, compassionate, kind, gentle and courageous.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 28 Years, Larry H. Gibson; son, Bobby Ranney, daughter, Amanda Gibson; and brother, Tommy Clements.

Sissy leaves to cherish her memory her children, Debi Beddow, Adam Gibson (Lori), Mary Warren (Joe), Sonya Gibson, Donna Ranney, Tony Ranney (Brittany), Sarah Gibson (Jesse); 27 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, William Clements (Sue), Roger Clements (Lisa); sisters, Beverly Tarrence, Mary Gibson (Tom); a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, friends and her loving pets, Chewey, Prissy, Ottie and Susie..

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
