Lynda Ruth Logsdon, age 82, of Hillview, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 27, 2022. She was born in Louisville, KY, December 25, 1939. Lynda retired from Wal-mart and was a member of Shawnee Christian Church and a lifetime member of Girl Scouts of America. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruth Arms Moore; a brother, Walter Moore. Lynda leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 66 years, Chris Logsdon; children, Lisa Stratton (Curtis), Debbi Smith, Michael Logsdon (Misty) and Anthony Logsdon (Stephanie); one brother, Lester Moore (Linda) ; two sisters, Bonnie Weihe (Doug) and Brenda Carrico; grandchildren, David, Kris, April, Brandi, Hayley, Michael, Kristen and Shane; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of friends survive. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Wednesday from 11am until time of service at the funeral home.
