Mrs. Margaret Ruth Hardison, age 84, of Hillview, entered eternal life on Friday, August 7, 2026. Mrs. Hardison was born in Louisville, KY, on March 20, 1942, to the late Ralph Moon and Irene Spence Moon. She was Baptist by faith and retired from Papes, Inc.
Margaret was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Her family was the most important part of her life, and she loved her children dearly. She was always there to support them. She also loved her siblings and treasured the special bond they shared. Her love for her family, her caring heart, and the many ways she touched the lives of those around her will be lovingly remembered.
In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Charles “Chuck” Hardison, Sr. and siblings, Elmer Moon, Mary Kruk, Daisy Linehan, Ralph Moon and Catherine Eaton preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Anthony Hardison, Andrew Hardison, Leslee Hardison and Charles Hardison, Jr.; grandchildren, Hannah Hardison, Hunter Hardison, Cameron Hardison, Ryder Lee Hardison, Anthony Hardison, Jr., Billy Sparks, Loren Sparks and Nathan Sparks, 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sadie Murphy and Gilbert Moon and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 15, 2026 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy., Shepherdsville) with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday, August 13th from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, August 14th from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of her service at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
