Margaret "Margie" Mary Schott

Mrs. Margaret “Margie Schott, 76 of Louisville Ky, returned to her Heavenly Father on November 11, 2021. She was born in Louisville KY on October 17, 1945, to the late Gilbert and Helen (Schmidt) Sturtzel.  Mrs. Schott was retired, she was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, she was an avid UL fan, she loved her children and grandchildren, and she devoted her life to them.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 siblings Gilbert Sturtzel, Marcella True, and Theresa Harvey; 1 son David Schott; and her grandson Jesse Schott.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 56 years Kyle Schott; her sister Helen Kousoulis (Paul); children, Daniel Schott, Diana Richardson, and Denise Roeller (John); grandchildren, David Schott, Jr (Shay), Chris Schott (Donna), Sara Schott (Matt), Adam Schott (Joyce), Nicholas Schott (Bec),  Tiffany Smith (Jason), Elizabeth Richardson (Josh), Larry, Kyle, and Chad Richardson, Daniel Schott, Jr (Jennifer), Derrick Schott, Daniella Schott, and Abigail Roeller; along with 21 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 2:00 pm at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (11501 Maple Way, Louisville KY 40229) with burial in Brookland Cemetery to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1pm until 8:00pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.)  Again, on Monday from 10:00am until time of service.
