Mark Allan Jones

Mr. Mark Allan Jones, 57, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. He is now free from the emotional and physical pain that was caused by a traumatic brain injury he suffered in an accident 30 years ago.  Mr. Jones was born on February 4, 1961, in Franklin, KY. He enjoyed life and he lived each day to the fullest. He loved playing poker and attending rock concerts.

Among those that preceded him in death are his father, Jackie L. Jones and grandparents, Denton and Edna Jones, Willie Guy Eldridge, Carroll and Lola Sampson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Loretta Jones; son, John Hileman (Katie); grandchildren, Savannah and Haddie Hileman; sister, Jacqueline James and brother, William Jones (Betty).

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. EST Saturday, January 19, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. EST and Saturday from 10 a.m. EST until the time of the service.
