Mark Allen Scott

Mr. Mark Allen Scott, age 56, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 28, 2021.  Mr. Scott was born on September 3, 1964 in Louisville, KY to the late Charles and Annette Scott. He devoted 38 years of service to KY Trailer Manufacturing Company.  He was a baptized member of Summersville Baptist Church in Greensburg, KY.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his loving wife of 31 years, Nancy M. Scott; sister, Angela Scott and brother-in-law, Ricky McHargue. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Joshua K. Byrd-Scott; grandchildren, Jaxon K. Byrd-Scott, Heidi Rose Byrd-Scott, Hailee Byrd and Hadley Faulkenberg; sisters, Teresa McHargue and Beverly McGuire (Hugh); brother, Jeffrey C. Scott (Vickie) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
