Marlin Dwayne Thomas

Mr. Marlin Dwayne Thomas, age 73, of Jeffersonville, IN returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 9, 2023. Mr. Thomas was born in Dizney (Harlan County), KY on April 1, 1950 to the late Curtis Thomas and Wilma Jean Campbell. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era and was a Purple Heart Recipient.

In addition to his parents, his son, Brandon Thomas; brothers, Michael and Johnny Thomas and his grandmother, Hazel Casteel preceded him in death.  

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Dustin Thomas; stepchildren, Mindy Wilson, David Stepp and Daniel Holmes; grandchildren, Tre and Trent Banaski; aunt, Doris Pitts and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of his service at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
