Martha Renfrow

Mrs. Martha Lorene Renfrow, age 78, of Highview, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Mrs. Renfrow was born in Bardstown, KY on December 14, 1947 to the late Francis Lee and Lorene Sadelvia Riggs Helm.

A woman of strong faith and a caring heart, she was a devoted member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and gave her time volunteering at the Salvation Army. She retired from Leatherman’s Pharmacy, found joy in traveling with her husband, playing Bingo, and doing crafts. Above all, Martha cherished time spent with her family, who meant everything to her.

In addition to her parents, her loving husband, Norman Dueward Renfrow; her brother, Francis Lee and sister, Marilyn LaFavers preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Sheila Dunn (Wayne) and David Renfrow (Tonya); grandchildren, Dalton, Chelsea (Steven), Cody, Austin (Makayla) and Ashley (Bryan); great-grandchildren, Landon, Holden, Harvey, William and A.J.; sisters, Beverly Myers (Phillip) and Jeannie Calhoun and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until the time of her service at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 11:00 am EST (10:00 am CST) at Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (9578 Caneyville Rd, Morgantown, KY 42261).
