Mary Elizabeth "Miller" Ellis, age 86, of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Mrs. Ellis was a homemaker and a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Mary Miller; husband, Raymond Ellis Sr.; seven brothers; and daughter-in-law, Connie Ellis. Mrs. Ellis leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Donna Hood; sons, Raymond Ellis Jr. (Barbara), Byron Ellis (Wanetta), Rodney and Kevin Ellis; brother, David Miller; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 4 great -great- grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
