Mary "Linda" Sparks

Mrs. Mary “Linda” Sparks, age 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father Monday, May 12, 2025. Mrs. Sparks was born November 11, 1943, in Columbia Kentucky, to the late Edgar and Clarice “Burris” Thomas.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband Uriel Sparks; parents; granddaughter, Sabra Scroggin; and siblings, Reesor Thomas (Elizabeth), Elizabeth Jackson (Bill) and Ovalee Compton (Jimmy). She leaves to cherish her children, Laura Scroggin (Wade) and Steve Branham; grandson, Landon Scroggin; and a host of family and friends. 

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 15, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (Hwy. 44 east at 123 Winning Colors Dr.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Family and Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and on Thursday, May 15,2025, from 9:00am until time of service at the funeral home.
