Mary Hagan Woods

Mrs. Mary L. Woods, age 72, of south Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Mrs. Woods was a dedicated solicitor for the Disabled American Veterans for over 20 years.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her husband, Ralph Woods; parents, John and Annie Ballard Hagan; brothers, John and Jack Hagan; sisters, Della Bryan, Dorothy Carey and Pearl Berry.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Bruce Woods (Candace), Randi Woods, Margie "Scooter" Ford, Donna Underwood, Vicki Woods, Gary Woods, Terry Woods and Reggie Thompson; and 7 grandchildren that held a special place in her heart, Summer Joy, Derek, Hunter, Adrian, Jeremy, Michele, and Casey; and 8 greatgrandchildren; brothers, Paul Hagan, Billy Hagan, Chet Hagan; sisters, Ann Marie Goff, Cecelia Hagan and Mary Newton.

Funeral service will be conducted 5 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial 10 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
