Megan Washburn

Megan Washburn, age 35, of Louisville, Ky passed away tragically and unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Megan was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 19, 1989, to Tony Kamber and Kimberly Washburn. She worked for 5 years at Grade A Auto Parts, she enjoyed spending time with her children. Megan liked Sun Flowers, the color sage Green, weeping willow trees, crystals, and spending time outside in nature. She was a loving mother and sister and Aunt who worked effortlessly to make life a little easier for her children. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and sister Lacey Moon and nephew Aurelio Hernandez.

She is survived by her children son Derick Gonzalez (Ariana), daughter Nuvia Washburn, sister Malynn Hernandez (Cesar), brother Shane Washburn (Cara), 3 nieces Alejandra Moon, Deanna Hernandez, Avery Washburn, and nephew Wesley Washburn, her fur baby Blue. Along with a host of cousins, and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). The visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Cremation was chosen.
