Michael D. "Mike" Embry

Mr. Michael D. "Mike" Embry, age 66, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on August 3, 2014. Mr. Embry was Catholic by faith, he was a United States Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War, a member of Disabled American Veterans and the Commanders Club.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, George and Laura Ritzel- Embry; stepmother, Rita Embry and a host of brothers and sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Mike Embry (Leeann); stepdaughter, Amee Linton; grandchildren, Thomas and Klarrisa Embry and Ashley and Chelsey Linton; uncle, Robert "Bobby" Embry (Mary) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at Noon on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with interment in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
