Michael Burton Stone

Mr. Michael Burton “Whoopty” Stone, age 53 of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 6, 2023. He was born on October 11, 1969 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Wilbur and Dorlis Stone. Mr. Stone worked as a handyman. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Michelle “Micki” Stone; brothers, Jeffery Stone, Gregory Stone, Sr.; sister, Sherry Gash; and stepdaughter, Alexis Rae Peterson.

Michael loved spending time with his dog, Noah, and being outdoors. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and horse races.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Douglas “Doug” Stone; sister, Debra “Debbie” Harman; fur companion, Noah; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 4:00pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 12:00pm Noon until the time of service at 4:00pm.
