It pains me to admit it, but I, Mr. Michael Wright from Louisville, KY have unfortunately passed away. My shoes are quite literally on their last legs. I passed at home on October 18, 2022 with my fur babies and my one true love, Wesley, by my side.
At 11 years old, Pat O’ Bryan fell in love with this kid who just loved to play in the dirt. He took me under his wing, and 27 years later Super Mike will finally get some rest from my days at All America Pool Co. After all the years of hard work, coming home smelling like chlorine and hands covered in pool liner debris, I think it’s time to float on.
I have dedicated my life to building a beautiful home for my husband Wesley and our 5 dogs (Lady, Willy, Buddy, Mickey, and Lexie) and our 2 cats (Toby and Baby). Wesley has joined me up here and we are resting together at last.
I am survived by my loving mother Debbie Jones, my stepfather Karry Jones, my big sister Angela Hayes, the best brother-in-law I could have asked for Richie Hayes, my super cool nephew Maddox Hayes, and my incredibly stubborn, but beautiful mamaw Jacqueline Walker. My in laws Ron and Amy Mahaffey, Haley Mahaffey and my future nephew baby MJ. I also leave behind the family that loved me like their own. The O’Bryan family (Pat, Cathy, Michelle, and Michael “Animal”) amongst a large cast and crew of many people I was proud to call my family and dearest friends.
I am reunited again at last with my father, Michael Wright Sr., as well as my husband Wesley. I’ll try not to say anything negative about them though, as speaking ill of the deceased is a GRAVE mistake.
Now let’s make like a mortician and grab a cold one!
My memorial services will be as follows:
The celebration of my life will be at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, 123 Winning Colors Dr., Mt. Washington, KY 40047 at 7pm on Thursday, October 27,2022 cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 1pm until 7pm, at the funeral home.
