Mickey Alva C. Cox

Mr. Mickey Alva C. Cox Jr., age 76, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was born on May 5, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a Mason and a member of Okolona Lodge #853, retired from Coupe Construction. He was very proud of the work he had done over the years especially in the design and work of building McDonald’s throughout the area. He enjoyed floating around Nolan Lake, riding jet skis and camping. He was preceded in death by his father, Alva C. Cox Sr.; his stepfather, Charles Daniel and sister, Laura Ploetner.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Monica Cox; his mother, Mildred L. Daniel; his siblings, Connie Rae Daniel, Marchelle Joseph, Anna Marie Alshami, Maple Lyons, Charles Daniel II, Henry Daniel, James Daniel, Dwight Daniel and Jack Cox; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 2pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Highway Shepherdsville with burial to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 10am until time of service.
