Mildred Whittle Jenkins, age 87, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 26, 2021. She was born Monday, October 30, 1933. She was a Baptist by faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude J. Jenkins; her parents, Henry T. and Ruby Sanders; her son, Jimmy Whittle; her brothers Tommy, Dickie and Don Sanders; along with a sister, Geraldine Renfro.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Kimberly Mathes (Frank); her grandchildren, Chris Mueller, Jamie Whittle and Stephanie Henries (Cliff); her step grandchild Arie Jenkins; her great grandchildren, Riley, Colton and Trevor; along with a host of sister in laws, nephews and nieces.
Funeral service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Lone Hill Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 2pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday 9am until time of service at the funeral home.
