Gail had a special love for animals and found great joy in caring for them. She loved spending time outdoors, especially camping, fishing, and gardening. Above all, Gail cherished her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
In addition to her parents, her grandparents, Jack and Loretta Rich and Minta and William Blankenship preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Charles “Pat” Duff; daughters, Brittney Duff (Brian) and Erin Hopper (Dakota); grandchildren, Mattie, Jack, Gage, Lainey, Owen, Juda, Clayton and Alaia; sister, Susan Ogle; niece, Brittany Clark (Travis); nephew, Nolan Carter (Emma); great nephews, Harrison Carter and Colin Clark; fur babies, Gypsy, Alli and Gator and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday, August 15, 2026 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow and private interment at Mt. Holly Cemetery at a later date. Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of her service at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
