Nancy Jane Blackburn Wood

Mrs. Nancy Jane Blackburn Wood, age 100, of the East End returned to her Heavenly Father on September 25, 2016. Mrs. Wood previously worked in food services in the Jackson, Ohio School System and a member of Antioch Old Regular Baptist Church. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, Bob and Hannah Damron Blackburn; husband, John B. Wood; brothers, Ralph, Bobby and Jim Blackburn; sister, Alma Miller; and brother-in-law, Arnold Lawson. She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Louise Addington (Karrel), Ruby McQuary (Royce) and Ruth Lawson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Potter Cemetery in Pikeville, KY.
