Nicholas "Nick" Wayne Ewing, Sr

 Nicholas “Nick” Wayne Ewing, Sr., age 45 of Louisville, KY passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Nick was born on May 31, 1978, to the late Ernest Michael Ewing, and Patricia (Thompson) Ewing.  He last worked for Clark Forklift as a manager. Nick enjoyed being at the lake, fishing, and swimming, he loved basketball and watching University of Louisville play. He also was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan; he liked to draw and go to the movies. Nick also liked to dream about inventing different things and how he could get them patented.  He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Michael Ewing, Sr.

 He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Gina Ewing, his son, Nicholas Wayne Ewing, Jr, his daughter, Brooke Nikole Ewing, mother Pat Ewing, sister, Kim Bonn (Donnie), two brothers, Mike Ewing (Christina), and Jason Thompson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear family and friends.

 Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, July 3, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy).  A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow.
