Nicholas Scott Smothers

Baby Nicholas Scott Smothers, of Mt. Washington, Ky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 22, 2022.  Baby Nicholas was born in Louisville, KY, on December 22, 2022 to Tabitha and Kevin (Scotty) Smothers.

Nicholas Scott Smothers was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edgar “Butch” Rash and Michael Smothers; cousin Karleigh Jo Delmenhorst.

Besides his loving parents he leaves to cherish his memory, siblings, Asa, Alayna, Alec; grandmothers, Madena Porter and Yvonda Rash; great grandmothers, Alice Bandy and Gladys Smothers; aunts, Stacy Delmenhorst (John), Tashia McDonald (Patrick), Tiffany Moore (Jesse); cousins, Maddison, David, Lilly and Jeremiah with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday, December 31, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
