Mrs. Norma Parks,76, of Okolona, formerly of New Albany IN, returned to her Heavenly Father on April 8,2016. Mrs. Parks was catholic by faith and attended Gethsemane Baptist Church. A lifelong member of the Collie Club of KY. Mrs.Parks worked for many years as a secretary at United Furniture and in the lunchroom at Moore High School. She was preceded by her husband, Richard B. Parks Jr.; parents, Boyd Stewart and Alma Durbin; and brother, Harry Stewart. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Mike Parks (Donna), Wayne Parks Sr. (Angie), Dan Parks (Susie); six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Blanche Ferrara. Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 10:00am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Brookland Cemetery.
