Norman Ray Ernspiker

Mr. Norman Ray Ernspiker, age 93, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born on December 15, 1928 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a member of Kenwood Church of Christ and Manslick Road Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Justine Ernspiker; his parents, Thomas Edward Ernspiker and Gertrude Ernspiker; along with several siblings.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Myra Jo Dew (Donald), Reta Hornback (Andy) and Lora Tinsley (Mark); 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; his brother-in-law Laymon Byers (Mary Catherine) sister-in-law, Emogene Byers; along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 12, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home 4895 North Preston Highway Shepherdsville, with burial to follow at Embry Cemetery in Welches Creek, Kentucky. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday 4pm until 8 pm and on Saturday 9am until time of service. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Hosparus of Louisville and Sacredselections.org
