Norman V. Jones

Mr. Norman V. Jones, Jr 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on October 28, 2021, with his family by his side. Norman was born on September 16, 1937, in Louisville, Ky to the late Norman V. Jones, Sr., and Ethel “Harmon” Jones. Norman retired from JCPS systems after 30 years of service as a mechanic, he enjoyed fishing, wood working, tinkering with cars, whistling, singing, playing different musical instruments, scratch offs and his computer. However, his family was his life and he loved them dearly. Norman was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 62 years Mary “Johnson” Jones; his 2 daughters, Tina Tower (Barry), Kim Jones; 3 grandchildren Scott Tower (Keisha), Jason Tower, Jenny Warren (Josh); 7 great grandchildren, Austin Tower, Hank Warren, Raelynn Tower, Harper Warren, Briar Tower, Bentley Tower, and Jolee Tower; along with a host of other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 North Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 31, 2021, and on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Brookland Cemetery.
