Patrick Thomas Keating

Mr. Patrick Thomas Keating, age 80, of Brooks returned to his Heavenly Father on June 19, 2021. Mr. Keating was born on March 30, 1941 in Louisville, KY to the late Edward and Mildred (Just) Keating. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. He was an ISCA official and member of the Hall of Fame Kentucky Motorsports Association and the Hall of Fame Starbird Rod and Custom Museum. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, and granddaughter, Kalli.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 47 years, Linda (Farmer) Keating children, Merry Keating (Nissa), Robert Keating (Toni), Stephanie Shea, Larry Keating (Terri), Michael Shea, and Patrick Keating (Wendy); and grandchildren, Robbie, Josh, Lucas, Auston and Emilee Keating, Brittany and Ashley Shea, and Kristin, Connor, Carter and Cody; and great-grandchildren, Magnum and Lincoln.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1-8 pm and from 12 pm until time of the service at the funeral home.
