Mrs. Phyllis Lynn (Anderson) Hightower, age 66, of Okolona returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, September 9, 2019. Mrs. Hightower was born in Louisville on September 27, 1952 to the late Raymond Oscar Anderson and Marilyn June Silvers. She was a faithful member of Gethsemane Baptist Church.
Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; son, Christopher James Anglin; great grandson, Ezekiel; great granddaughter, Raelynn; and brother, James Richard Anderson.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 41 years, Dennis Charles Hightower; daughters, Robin Mullins (Matt) and Brandy Menjivar (Guillermo); grandchildren, Brittney King, Autumn Anglin (Timothy) and Preston Menjivar; and great grandson, Owen Tyler.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday, September 14, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 12 pm until 8 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
