Rowdy was the son of Randy Blythe and the late Sherry Wicker. Rowdy lived with his dad, in his childhood home in Hillview, Kentucky. He attended North Bullitt High School, achieving his GED.
Randy was C.E.O. LLC, of his own life. He was his dad’s helper and go-to.
Rowdy is a legend. Born with a great many talents. Pure greatness, one being football. It was his passion. He loved his teammates, and the camaraderie of brohood. The sound of the snap of the ball, Rowdy lit it up Friday Nite Lights!! He was a leader, protector, a solid unforgettable force that imprinted on everyone he ever met. Hunting and fishing and being out in the woods with his dad is when he was most free. He loved his family!! Cherished them.
He was loyal and selfless, forgiving. Ready to step up and help with anything. Cooking chili, gardening, raising kids. Losing him is heavily felt among his family and throughout his community.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Maggie Fixton. He leaves behind Destiny his daughter (Amy Dezy’s mom); dad, Randy; Jeremy (bro); Amanda (sis, His Voice); grandbaby, Halo; nieces, Maddison, Neveah and Lex; nephews, Sebastian, Hunter and Cameron and his bestest buddy, Jessie.
In one last selfless act, as Rowdy took his last breath, he breathed life into two people gifting them his kidneys so they could live when he couldn’t. Righting wrongs he would never get a chance to do. Beautiful!
