Rev Melvin Clay Webb

He was preceded in death by his father Marth Webb and mother Nettie (Gardner) Webb, brother John Warren Webb, his sisters, Virginia Logsdon and Christine Meredith, and his daughter Sherree Webb Marcus.

He is survived by his faithful wife of 69 years, Helen Marie (Petty) Webb, his sons, Doug Webb (Gail), Mark Webb (Tameika),his daughter, Beverly Hacker (Bryan), eleven grandchildren, David, Philip, Timothy, Bretton, Brennon, Ben, Becca, Micaiah, Josiah, Amber, and Michael, twelve great-grandchildren, Taylor, Geron, Abigail, Andrew, Kyler, Kaden, Kohl, Kaice, Landrie, Elsbeth, Caspian, and Amelia, and brother Rolan Webb.

Brother Webb worked as a machinist for Cissell Manufacturing Company for 30 years, he also served in the ministry for 60 plus years, he pioneered the Calvary Holiness Church of Brooks, Kentucky and served as pastor for 29 years.

Brother Webb has left behind a legacy of sons and grandsons who are God-called ministers of the Gospel, and a host of children and grandchildren that are singers & musicians.

Brother Webb was a man of character and faith. He was honest, sincere, loving, kind, straight-forward, friendly, and fun loving. His message as a minister was one that called sinners to repentance and challenged believers to live a holy life. Through his ministry many people were saved and healed by the power of God.

Brother Webb was a man of God, a man of integrity. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

A celebration of his life will be conducted on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 9:30 am at Calvary Holiness Church 505 Rodgers Road Brooks, Kentucky 40109. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, May 26, 2023, at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday morning at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
