Rhonda Ann Downs, age 57, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. She was born on October 27, 1968, in Bardstown, Kentucky. She was a member of North Bullitt Christian Church.
Those left to cherish and honor her memory are her significant other, Darrell Bishop; son, James Bishop; mother, Janice Downs; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Marie Bishop; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Clark and Sherry O’Brien (Ray) and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 5:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Norton Women and Children Cancer society.
