Richard Graham Howe

Mr. Richard Graham Howe, 78, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. He was born in Louisville on September 14, 1944, to the late Richard O. Howe and Glenna (Osborne) Nelson. Richard retired from Louisville Gas & Electric as a draftsman, and enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, collecting guns, and buying cars. You could say he was a collector of sorts. Richard enjoyed trips to Gatlinburg and North Carolina and liked Native American décor. He also enjoyed talking about his work; it was like a hobby for him. But he loved his family above all else. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 52 years Inez Howe, and his sister, Barbara Combs.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Rich Howe (Robin), Jon Howe (Teresa), his grandchildren, Emmazel and Madeline Howe, Abby, Bella, Chloe, Noel, and Jocelyn Howe, his sister Cheryll Whelan, his aunt, Katheryn Baker, sister-in-law, Eugenia Johnson, along with a host of nieces and nephews, and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
