Uncle Richard was a very sweet man, he was kind to everyone I miss him very much!

Uncle Richard was a good man, I will miss him very much

I have lots and lots wonderful of memories with my Uncle Richard, I remember as a kid going over to his house and spending the weekend with my mom and brother. We would always rent movies and cookout. Man those were always the best dinners and best times. I could have always done without the Startrek Sundays, that always meant it was time to go home cause we had school the next day. It was always so much fun hanging out with him and Uncle Mike.  Another time I remember was the time he took me fishing on the boat, I thought I was special cause I got to ride all the way up front. Well lets just say that didn't last long cause I happened to see a Garr fish which at that time I thought we were going to get eaten by an alligator or crocodile. I was totally unaware they had such a fish in Rough River. Lets just say I moved back to the middle of the boat very quickly, and he just shook his head and laughed at me.  One of the last memories that I have and believe me I can honestly look back and laugh about it now, but Oh my goodness not my family they were pretty mad at me over it, but it was me just being the typical me "different" When Richard and Laura were getting married, Laura asked me to do her hair. I was a hairstylist back then and I always had my hair colored with some kind of crazy color, well that time just so happened to be hot pink and I had multiple nose rings I believe. Well it sure gave everyone lots to talk about that day. I still occasionally hear about that time. All I can say is sorry if I caused you any embarrassment.  I can still hear his voice calling me "Hey Miss" or "Hey Missy", he was the only person to continue calling me this throughout my lifetime of growing up, I will always hear his voice calling my name. Uncle Richard you will ALWAYS be missed by me. I can honestly say I feel good knowing that you are up in heaven looking down on us all. Heaven gained another angel on Saturday and as far as I'm concerned you earned your wings long ago!

I had the privelage of working with Richard @ Webb and Sons painting. Out of everybody there he made me feel very welcome. He was most of all willing to give me a chance and guide me in the right direction. When he would see me struggle he would always stop and help. I always got a good vibe off of him. He would always seem to care about what was going on with my family. He had a unique way of always making someone feel accepted. Some of our best times was setting after work in the shop and enjoying a beer with each other. It was always refreshing to have a conversation with Richard, he always made me feel like he was very interested in what I had to say. I can never forget his laugh, I could pick him out of a crowd with his laugh. He had a huge heavy heart that could sink a ship. his presence was enjoyed by all and be missed dearly, but never forgotten. Rest in peace Rich!

Laura I can't begin to express how sorry I am to imagine what you are going through. I hope that God gives you comfort and strength during this time. Remember your PCDU friends are here whenever you need us. Praying for you and your family.

Rich was always a pleasure to work with over the twenty some odd years.He will be greatly missed and also that smile on his face when i would say (paint it) .Go my freind and rest with God.Till we meet again.ray
