Mr. Robert Dallas Arnold, age 88, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 3, 2026. He was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky on September 26, 1937 to the late Elwood and Ida Arnold. More importantly, Bob was a faithful member of the Expressway church of Christ, was dedicated to the Lord and His people, and served as an elder in two other congregations. Family was Bob's number one earthly priority, and he cherished his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren more than himself. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Janice Harbinson; siblings, Virgil, Billy, Brenda, Penny and Katherine.
To cherish his memory is his loving wife, Shirley Arnold; sons, Robert Arnold (Denise), Richard Arnold (Paula), Phil Arnold (Amy), Bruce Arnold (Cecy); grandchildren, Nathan, Jordan, Kylee, Heather, Lindsay, Nicholas, Joshua, Savannah, Joseph, Matthew, and Alyssa; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Wednesday from 9:00am until the time of service.
