Robert Allen Arnold Sr.

Mr. Robert Allen Arnold, Sr., age 86, entered eternal life on Sunday, October 4, 2026. Mr. Arnold was born in Louisville, KY on December 13, 1939 to the late Chester Orville Arnold and Suzie L. Johnston Arnold. He was an avid UK Basketball fan, loved fishing and cherished time spent outdoors. He worked in management with Globe Union and Johnson Controls and spent the latter part of his career with Dealers LP.

Robert was a loving and fun-loving man who brought joy to those around him. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

In addition to his parents, his infant daughter, Anita Gay Arnold preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sharon Marie Bishop Arnold; his children, Bobby Arnold (Stephanie), Tony Arnold (Wanda) and Shawn Fee; grandchildren, Ashley Scroggy (Joey), Justin Arnold (Rosa), Amy Fluhr (Anthony), Amber Oxx (Tony) and Corey Fee (Lily); his beloved great-grandchildren and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 12, 2026 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy., Shepherdsville, KY) with burial to follow at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of his service at 10:00 am at the funeral home.

Mr. Arnold’s family would like to express their gratitude to Essex Nursing Home for their loving care over the past 11 years.
