Mr. Robert F. Baunach, Jr., age 58, of Hillview returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Mr. Baunach was born in Louisville, KY on September 21, 1961. He was Christian by faith.
Among those who preceded him in death are, his father, Robert F. Baunach, Sr.; brother, Richard “Ricky” Baunach and nephew, Matthew Peebles.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of almost 29 years, Susan Baunach; his children, Ashley Baunach, Travis Baunach (Kalee) and his son by heart, Michael Thomas; his mother, Jean Baunach; sisters, Cindy Wakefield (Mark), Becky Peebles (Nathan) and Jeannie Bailey (Kenny); nephews and nieces, Michael Anderson (Katherine), Cristina Ashley (Justin), Melissa Teague, Nicole Bailey, James Caudill (Melanie), Marshall Peebles (Ashley) and Sarah Bailey (Wes); great- nephews and great-nieces, Riley, Charley, Hudson, Daniel, Kaylee, Andrew, Lily, Lucas and Lydia and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, February 29, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
