Mr. Robert Paul Dailidonis, age 79, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 28, 2026. He was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to late August and Dorothy Dailidonis on June 1, 1946. Mr. Dailidonis is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie Dailidonis; daughter, Christa Dailidonis Sykes; and brother, Kim Dailidonis.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Dailidonis worked as a mechanic so he could support his family. He loved spending time with his family. His hobby was vacationing in the mountains where he enjoyed peace and quiet.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Michael Dailidonis; and granddaughter, Ailene Jenkins.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with internment at Cave Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 1:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service.
